Hope Haven Farm
Phill, his wife and three children operate Hope Haven Farm, a boutique agriculture and horticulture research operation, focused on organic and sustainable best practices for growing ornamental and edible crops. Founded in 1997, the farm is currently focused on developing an organically grown variety of hops to help support and supply New York state’s microbrewing industry. The future vision for the farm is to expand into native and sustainably grown specimen trees, shrubs and perennials that enable ecological landscape principals and for it to become an educational resource for teaching organic and sustainable horticulture practices. The farm currently operates in two locations in Upstate, New York.
